5 More Companies Join Digital Sandbox KC

Digital Sandbox KC has accepted five more startups into its program, which helps early-stage companies commercialize their products and services.

Those companies include:

Creelio, which helps businesses produce targeted, professional content that can be used to promote their brands on social media. The Sandbox will help Creelio build the interface and data analytics components for its platform.

Dewsly Media, a secure online communication tool for educators, parents and students, allowing them to stay current on school news. The Sandbox will help Dewsly build its smartphone app.

RFP365 creates software that helps buyers create requests for proposal (RFPs), get vendor proposals and consider their responses. The Sandbox will help RFP365 improves its infrastructure and integrate with external applications.

Smart Steps LLC makes tools that help people with autism, Down syndrome and other cognitive disabilities to live on their own. The Sandbox will offer help with Smart Steps’ first prototype.

Welltodo develops mobile health apps, and the Sandbox will assist them with their first—an app that helps users monitor, predict and reduce the likelihood of migraine headaches.

The Digital Sandbox program has provided proof-of-concept assistance to 32 companies so far and is accepting applications on a rolling basis. The Sandbox support has helped six of those companies land investment worth more than $2.2 million. For more information, visit www.digitalsandboxkc.com.
