BNIM Wins KC Chamber’s Annual Mr. K Award

Architecture firm BNIM has been named the winner of this year’s Mr. K Award—presented every spring by the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce to the best small business of the year.

The good news came during the chamber’s Small Business Awards Luncheon on May 13. This is the 29th year the chamber has hosted an awards celebration targeted to the community’s small entrepreneurs.

“During its 45-year history, BNIM has had a huge impact on the Kansas City built environment, as well as leading the way nationally and internationally in sustainable design,” said Jim Heeter, president and CEO of the chamber. “With the Mr. K Award, we celebrate BNIM’s innovation and excellence.”

The other finalists for this year’s Mr. K Award included AdamsGabbert, Centric Projects, DataLocker, IDD InStore Design Display, Infinite Energy Construction Inc., k12itc, NorthPoint Development, Sullivan Higdon & Sink and Technology Group Solutions.
