Cultivate Referral Network Connects Service Providers with Opportunity, Other Pros

Kansas City’s Affinity Worldwide is introducing a new business, Cultivate Referral Network, to build connections between roofers, plumbers and other service providers working in the real estate industry.

Cultivate hosts twice-monthly, in-person networking and educational sessions for service providers – so far, there are chapters in the Northland and Johnson County. Cultivate also operates an online platform where members can promote their services to each other. There are additional benefits to membership, including a newsletter.

“It’s our goal to build and strengthen the real estate industry service provider community,” said Charlie Fitzgerald, CEO of Affinity Venture Partners. “When communicating with homeowner or investor clients, service providers often become aware of other on-site projects needed. Cultivate members now have a platform to share those leads with one another.”

The Northland-based Affinity operates a portfolio of companies, all of which have some connection to the real estate business. Several of its companies, including Wrenn Insurance, are past winners of the 25 Under 25® Awards from Thinking Bigger Business Media.

While Cultivate is starting locally, the plan is to add other chapters soon.

“We focus on creating a space for local service providers to build lasting relationships and networks, learn from each other’s experiences and of course refer potential clients,” said Kat Hungerford, program manager of Cultivate Referral Network. “We invite them to come to a meeting and see how we can positively impact their businesses.”
