High Touch Technologies has acquired the assets of Computer Upgrade in Lee’s Summit, whose products and services will now come under the High Touch banner.
The Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce will perform a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 5 at the newly rebranded location at 100A S.W. Third St. in downtown Lee’s Summit.
“This is a great opportunity for Computer Upgrade and our customers,” said Sam Clippinger, operations manager for Computer Upgrade, in a release. “We are happy to become part of the High Touch family. This will allow us to offer many new services and areas of expertise in the future, including website development and business telephone options.”
The merger will allow both companies to better meet the needs of their business and consumer customers in the Kansas City area, said Wayne Chambers, president and CEO of High Touch Technologies.
“Computer Upgrade has the same approach to technology solutions as High Touch: to listen to customers’ technology pain points and to provide solutions to meet customers’ business challenges and keep them competitive,” Chambers said. “We are very proud to welcome Computer Upgrade to the family. This acquisition demonstrates our commitment to providing technology, products and services to meet our clients’ needs in the Kansas City metro area so they can focus on growing their businesses.”
