Individual Tickets On Sale Now for HEMP’s Steve Wozniak Talk

Individual tickets are now on sale for Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak’s Nov. 19 appearance at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

Wozniak will headline the 20th anniversary celebration of the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program. Tickets start at $75 and are available at the Kauffman Center’s box office or its website.

Wozniak will talk about his experiences starting one of the world’s most innovative, most successful companies.

Mike Lundgren, the director of innovation strategy at VML, will moderate Wozniak’s talk. Lundgren worked at Apple between 1989 and 1997 as the company’s director of worldwide market development. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the event itself will begin at 7 p.m.

The Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (HEMP) pairs established but growing entrepreneurs with more seasoned executives and business advisers. Companies whose owners complete HEMP typically see their revenue grow by 43 percent and headcount increase by 30 percent on average.
