Intouch Solutions’ Capan Named to Top 40 Industry List

Faruk Capan, CEO of Intouch Solutions pharmaceutical marketing agency in Overland Park, has been named a Top 40 Healthcare Transformer by Medical Marketing & Media (MM&M) in New York.

MM&M’s 40 finalists include entrepreneurs and tech leaders in the pharmaceutical field, as well as biotech, digital health and devices and diagnostic equipment. Finalists are selected because of the innovation that each has shown as a business leader in the health care industry.

“I’m truly honored by this recognition,” Capan said in a release. “This has been another exceptional year for Intouch Solutions and the pharmaceutical marketing industry as a whole. But there’s still progress to be made. I look forward to more innovation yet to come.”

Capan founded Intouch Solutions in 1999, and has devoted his years at the helm to advancing the company through his disruptive marketing skills and serving others as a mentor.

Before Intouch Solutions, Capan started MSWatch.com, a pioneering effort in online community engagement for the health care industry. Capan told MM&M, “If I showed it to you now, you’d ask, ‘Why didn’t you build Facebook instead?’”

Capan is still looking forward to finding ways to innovate with Intouch Solutions.

“I don’t think pharma has figured out mobile yet, but mobile and all the data that will be generated is what’s most interesting,” he told MM&M. “It’s about the marriage of big data and behavioral science. There’s so much value in this for patients and doctors—it’s just a matter of convincing clients to go there with us.”

Capan and the other Top 40 Healthcare Transformer finalists will be honored in April at the inaugural MM&M Transforming Healthcare Conference.
