The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Kansas City District Office will celebrate National Small Business Week by hosting “Reaching Out to You,” a small business event May 2 at the Kauffman Foundation Conference Center.
National Small Business Week will run May 1-7. This year’s theme: “Dream Big, Start Small.”
The “Reaching Out to You” event in Kansas City will consist of an award luncheon where the SBA will honor the Small Business Person of the Year for this region.
There will also be a panel of experts that will discuss how small businesses can access capital. Additionally, luncheon attendees will be able to take part in number of breakout sessions on several different small business topics.

- Simple Steps to Starting A Business
- Veterans Outreach
- Government Contracting
- Finance Room
- Credit Reporting Room
