MarksNelson’s Radetic Wins Outstanding Visionary Award

Mark Radetic, managing partner at accounting firm MarksNelson, has won the Outstanding Visionary Award from the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.

The honor is part of the society’s annual Impact Awards. Local honorees were recognized at a Nov. 3 event in Kansas City.

“I am humbled to be recognized as an outstanding visionary,” Radetic said. “MarksNelson is made up of exceptional people who are not only committed to our clients, but to each other and the community as well.

“The strategic planning work we’ve done together over the past five years is akin to building a championship team. Our consecutive years of growth and our national award for partner equity are just the beginning.”

Radetic joined MarksNelson in 2003 and became managing partner in 2009. He has won a series of honors in recent years, including the Innovative Firm Leader Award from the Leading Edge Alliance, the Men Who Get It Award from the Kansas Society of CPAs and a spot in Accounting Today’s MP Elites.

“Mark’s leadership style is that of consensus building and facilitation. He also carries a considerable client load and uses the same collaborative approach when advising his clients,” said MarksNelson member Angie McElhaney.
