The Northeast Johnson County Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2017 board of directors. The new chairman is Kim Huyett, the director of alumni and community relations at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Rounding out the NEJC Chamber board are:

“It is my honor to serve as your chairman of the board of directors for 2017,” said Huyett, “Our commitment to “Helping Small Businesses Grow” informs everything that we do. At each Chamber event our goal is to create common space for our community to come together and get to know one another, share stories and build relationships.”
The NEJC Chamber of Commerce serves the cities of Fairway, Merriam, Mission, Mission Hills, Mission Woods, north Overland Park, Prairie Village, Roeland Park, Westwood and Westwood Hills. Chamber membership consists of more than 350 businesses. Businesses with 25 or fewer employees make up nearly 70 percent of the chamber’s membership.
