Pipeline has announced that three entrepreneurs with national reputations will help judge its Innovator of the Year competition on Jan. 23.
This year’s daylong pitch contest will be held at Union Station’s Extreme Screen, leading up to Pipeline’s annual gala that night. Innovator of the Year is the culmination of Pipeline’s yearlong program, which exposes high-potential entrepreneurs to training that helps them scale up their companies.
Serving on this year’s panel:
- Rahul Sood, general manager of Microsoft Ventures and a serial entrepreneur who founded the luxury computer manufacturer VoodooPC.
- Amos Winbush III, CEO of CyberSynchs, a leading data transfer and synchronization company.
- Dan Janiak, an associate at the Mercury Fund, which works with science-based startups and investments.
“Microsoft has been a longstanding partner with Pipeline, and for good reason,” Sood said. “Pipeline entrepreneurs are growing, exiting, starting new ventures and helping other entrepreneurs. As a longtime entrepreneur I appreciate the hard work they’re putting in to build the startup ecosystem, and it’s an honor to help select this year’s Innovator of the Year.”
