Everybody’s got questions about the Affordable Care Act and what it will mean for small business. That’s why the SBA’s office in Kansas City will host two free workshops on the law next week.
The workshops will feature a representative from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services talking about the Small Business Health Options Program.
The first program will run from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 18, while the second session – which will be targeted to lenders – will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 20. They’ll both be at the SBA’s office at 1000 Walnut St., Suite 500 in Kansas City, Mo. (Validated parking is available at the 1025 Main St. garage.)
While there’s no cost to attend, organizers do ask that you RSVP by calling Barbara Caldwell at (816) 426-4902 or by emailing barbara.caldwell@sba.gov by close-of-business Nov. 15.
