Joining Dr. Michelle Robin is Jennifer MaGee, executive director of Heartland Therapeutic Riding. Heartland Therapeutic Riding provides equine-assisted therapy through the movement of and human interaction with the horse.

Founded in 1977 and lead by a volunteer board of directors, Heartland Therapeutic Riding is Kansas City’s first therapeutic riding program designed to assist individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities, such as cerebral palsy, spinal bifida, autism, development delay, Down Syndrome, emotional disorder sight and hearing impairments and neuromuscular and orthopedic challenges in Kansas City.

And you’ll meet Delena Stout the owner of Brookside Barkery & Bath.  Over the course of a decade, the Kansas City-based dog bath and all-natural pet food store has expanded to multiple locations with thousands of customers.

The mission at the Barkery is “Better Health through Better Nutrition” and their goals are to provide the most up-to-date holistic health information to their patrons
