Freeman opened The Spice & Tea Exchange in 2005 with the hopes of bringing the 18th century spice markets to life and features a one-of-a-kind shopping experience that offers more than 140 spices and over 30 exotic teas. He opened his first location in 2005 in St. Augustine, Florida (Formerly called Old Florida Spice Traders). Since then, The Spice & Tea Exchange has celebrated 40+ store openings in 24 states and D.C. Freeman shares his insights, tips, and advice for others who might be interested in starting their own business but do not know where or how to get started.
