Tickets for the fifth annual KC Oktoberfest are now on sale.
The two-day festival, hosted by KC Bier Co. in partnership with other local businesses, is set for Oct. 5-6 at the Crown Center.
Modeled after the traditional Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, KC Oktoberfest will feature Bavarian-style food and drink, as well as German-inspired music.
KC Bier Co. is partnering with local eateries Chicken N Pickle and Austrian restaurant Grünauer for food options. In addition, Chicken N Pickle will host a games-and-competition area, while West Bottoms-based Blade & Timber will offer mobile lanes for throwing axes.
KC Bier Co., a 2017 Thinking Bigger Business 25 Under 25 winner, has hosted Oktoberfest at its Waldo Bierhalle and Biergarten since the brewery’s founding in 2014. Last year, more than 10,000 attended the Oktoberfest festivities. This past spring, KC Bier announced the moving of KC Oktoberfest to Crown Center to accommodate the festival’s popularity.
Advance general admission single-day tickets are available for purchase online for $7 and a “Spezial VIP Pass” for either day is available for $55. The VIP pass includes a commemorative half-liter mug, two beer tickets and access to prime viewing locations.
Tickets are also available to reserve a table in the main tent. Tables of eight guests start at $175 for four hours. Also, KC Oktoberfest is offering a promotional hotel accommodation rate of $149 for one night at the Westin Crown Center, located on the festival grounds.
GA tickets will be $10 at the door.
The festival will run from 5-11 pm Oct. 5 and 11 am-11 pm Oct. 6. For more details, visit KC Oktoberfest or follow @kcoktoberfest on Twitter and Facebook.
