Technology consulting firm Tricension has just acquired Cloudapps LLC, which specializes in Microsoft-based customer relationship management (CRM) solutions.

By the end of the month, Cloudapps’ leadership and employees will begin working in Tricension’s headquarters in Kansas City’s Crossroads Arts District.

“We’re excited about the addition of Cloudapps,” said Mike Lammers, Tricension’s CEO. “Cloudapps not only brings a great deal of technical strength, but culturally they are a great fit. Bringing them into the Tricension family just felt very natural to all of us. We’re looking forward to continuing to grow together.”

One of the Cloudapps team’s projects will be creating CRM solutions that tie into Tricension’s services.

“We’re experiencing significant growth in our CRM and Cloud Enablement practices, and we expect that pace to accelerate significantly in 2016,” said Scott Thompson, Tricension CTO and chief enterprise architect.

“The combination of domain expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, xRM, .NET and SharePoint development that Cloudapps brings complements Tricension’s existing capabilities, allowing us to keep pace with that growth and deliver an even deeper and wider set of technology solutions for our clients.”

The acquisition is just the latest step that Tricension has taken to grow its cloud business. Recently, it became a NetSuite Solutions Provider.
