The LaunchKC grant competition, a joint project of the Economic Development Corporation of KC and the Downtown Council, has selected 10 startups to each receive $50,000, free office space and other resources.
The announcement helped wrap up Friday’s slate of events at Techweek Kansas City.
The top 10 included:

- HealthID
- Nodal
- Integrated Roadways
- KC Drone Co.
- Pycno
- SquareOffs
- Verisense
- Video Fizz
- PopBookings
Of the top 10, seven are from the Kansas City area. PopBookings won an online “crowd favorite” vote.
At least one of the top 10 finalists will be selected early next week to advance to a national startup competition in Miami.
