EyeVerify’s Toby Rush, a 25 Under 25® winner for Rush Tracking Systems, has won the international Get in the Ring pitch competition, triumphing over startups from the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Spain, Greece, Canada and Germany.

The event was held Nov. 22 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Rush and the other contestants were vying for angel investment worth up to €1,000,000, or roughly $1.3 million.

The international contest came just days after Rush won the first-ever U.S. finals, which were held at the Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City. The Get in the Ring competition was part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
